From a fine-art family and upbringing in Cornwall, Glyn followed a one-year Arts Foundation Course at the respected Falmouth School of Art in Cornwall, and then took a degree in Photography, Film and Television at Harrow in London.
On completion in 1987, he started freelancing for magazine clients, especially yachting and countryside titles such as Classic Boat, Yachting World and Country Living.
Over his career he has undertaken a multitude of industrial and advertising commissions for clients including National Grid, National Trust, Midland Mainline Railways, BBC and S4C TV, using camera formats from 35mm to 5”x4”. For 13 years he was a photography tutor at the University of Wales.
He has featured in many TV programmes including

In 2002, Glyn established his commercial studio and gallery in Menai Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey in North Wales.
He has published three art books about his work, two of which were given as a wedding gift to Prince William & Princess Catherine by the British Prime Minister.
